A Quarter Century

Jason Rahlan- the charm, the humor, the smile, that hair -

Happy, Happy, Birthday- wish I were there to celebrate!

Jason is one of the wittiest people I know and his combined delivery / intensity with every thing he says is guaranteed hilarious.

FYI:
The title of this blog actually comes from Jason teasing me and calling me SassyPants. Also Jason was one of the earliest ESP supporters- while he was campaigning he passed it around his office to friends and suggested they read as well.

My favorite Jason memory is by far a mockumentary he and I starred in. Jake had to make it for a visual media class; we came up with the premise that it be about a Girl Scout Troupe Leader and her husband. We had a daughter named Samoa. I mowed the lawn to make my 'salary'. And Jase was my disgruntled husband. The whole thing was improvised and he was spot on with his character, we were hysterical- sadly Jake lost the video footage in the media lab and we never saw the finished product. That being said, I'm almost okay with it- because my memory of the day is probably better than the footage itself.

It's no coincidence that some of the funniest people I know also have the biggest hearts, Jason is the perfect example of this. Seeing him a few weeks ago was a reminder of just how solid our friendship is- we don't speak that often since I've moved to New York but time and distance can't destruct what we have. We picked up like we had eaten lunch together the day before, our banter flawless and chemistry completely in tact. Our history is rich with moments of laughter and friendship- that is a foundation that gurantees forever.

Happy 25th Jason!
Love,
Jac
