webstops

  • A New York magazine article on Kate Spade and her husband Andy's bliss, found after they sold their businness to Liz Claiborne, a really great read on finding your own professional happiness
  • Commenter Bette Hayworth sent me this excellent profile on hat designer Eugenia Kim, look for her Target collection next month
  • Are you into Four Square? I don't really understand it and can't compel myself to attempt to. Please help.
  • My girl Barbie got two new jobs, she's a computer engineer and a news anchor. Both dolls were unveiled at the NY toy fair early this week. I've secretly always wanted to go to the toy fair, their website says bloggers can attend. Expect weekly posts praising the merits of Fisherprice, Tonka, and Milton Bradley, done solely to prove my worth.
  • A week and a half out of Google Buzz's launch, Mashable.com said it's "completely changing the game." One example I'd like to give? They're kinda phasing me out. Or out least ruling out potential blogs...I've been hesitant to blog about articles/posts I've already shared on Buzz via my Google Reader. I want to stay fresh and not overwhelm buzz followers with the same content twice. That being said I realized that people who I'm not connected to on Buzz do read the blog. So I had a choice to make and considering I shared the link to that Mashable article on Buzz early this week, you can guess what my decison was. Sorry for repeats buzz followers.
  • Were you into Fashion Week? I used NYMag.com to collect all of my favorite looks, look for a post over the weekend with my Top 10 and the album. I think DVF is going to take my top spot but I'll have to do a thorough review in the next few days.
Entertainment round up to follow...
