I'm bitter. Seriously bitter. Three of this season's better contenders went home last night on American Idol. Because I don't want to re-hash those bad feelings and have already expressed them on Facebook and Twitter, I'm going to focus on the positive. This week, Big Mike did an awesome rendition of "This Woman's Work" I will look to him, Bowersox, Lee, Casey and Siobhan as the remaining talent on the show:
If Aaron can learn what kind of songs to do there is hope for him as well- Tim Urban, really America? Over Alex Lambert??? No. No. No. See this why I didn't even want to write this blog, because my emotions are already getting out of hand. It's just a tv showe. Just a tv show that last night reflected the poor taste of the American public. In terms of my Idol pool- I've left my cozy #2 spot and moved onto #16. From here on out I'm going to vote OPPOSITE of what I actually think, because apparently the rest of the nation seems to believe snoozefest Paige Miles has more star appeal than the quirky and strong vocal stylings of Lilly Scott.
The only bright spot in last night's show? Matt Giraud. I forgot how much I fall for that knock-off Timberlake... he really is so talented.
(the good stuff starts at about 1:36)
Hopefully we'll see Paige, Katie, Lacey and Tim make an exit sooner than later. Aaron and Andrew need to step it up. The rest of them better stay in the competition for a while... but who knows what will happen.
I hope I'm not this disappointed next week
