share your sources

It's that time again- in an extreme ploy to get comments on the blog, we revisit my Thursday theme of "Shareday." Brilliant... I know.

Today's Shareday is easy but I think ultimately can prove a lot of worth in the long run. Where do you go on the web? Specifically, I'm thinking blogs and content oriented sites- ones that provide information or entertainment. Dig deep into your bookmark folders and share the sites that not everyone may  know about but don't forget to share popular ones as well- don't you want to be sure everyone in the world visits PostSecret.com?

For entertainment news and gossip I love Perez Hilton. Entertainment Weekly is home to my favorite reviews and tv show (LOST and Idol) re-caps. Glamour.com is my favorite magazine site due to their personable/realistic blogs. Shopstyle and Etsy are my immediate sites for shopping and browsing. MidtownLunch.com is my daily required for work visit. The Satorialist is always inspiring for fashion and style. Mashable.com  and Geek Sugar are where I nerd out for social media and web tips. Dear Old Love is where get all gooey and romantic. I also regularly enjoy updates from Dana at The Art of Accessories and Janice's Rate Your World.

I'd like to know of a good book review blog, more fashion sites that promote accessible style,  a home decor/interior design blog, and the best place for trending internet memes/viral trends. But really- I'm open to  anything. So please, tell me, what are your favorite spots on the web?

re: gawker and jez...

have them both in my reader but sometimes there are just too many posts, it's overwhelming.

You do find the occasional gem.

Good call on Bakerella Carly! Love it as well- also "Cupcakes That Take The Cake" is in the same vein

I used to love GoFug but lately... I don't know. Maybe I'm just sick of internet snark.

Good call on NY mag Laura.. Have to read this weeks GG recap
